They will have used software packages typical of those which are currently available.

Description: The course aims to reveal the simplicity and 'plain common sense' of computing by removing the barriers so often created by the jargon. Having achieved this basic level of confidence with the technology, the course provides the student with a 'survival package' Windows. The final part of the course is dedicated to practical workshop sessions during which the potential of Spreadsheet, Database, Word-processing, and Graphics software can be evaluated 'first-hand'.
